His professional background includes extensive experience in the public sector, including the State Audit Office of Georgia and the Audit Department of the Revenue Service, where he served as a Senior Auditor and was actively involved in complex tax inspections and financial analysis.

He subsequently continued his career in the private sector, including at LLC “Leaderfood”, where he held the position of Director and managed the company’s operational and financial functions, as well as at the microfinance organization “Rico Credit”, where he served as Head of Internal Audit, ensuring the effective operation of financial control systems.

Shio Vekua represents clients in tax disputes at the administrative stage before the Revenue Service, as well as in court proceedings. His practice includes representation during tax audits, as well as the organization and execution of inventory procedures where required.

In criminal cases involving tax audits or commodity, engineering, and accounting expert examinations, he is engaged at all stages of the process in close coordination with the lawyers of Strategic Counsel Group.
